About Us

Jigsaw was founded by Stephen Scanlan and Travis Leon, and is funded by institutional investors, CIOs, CKOs, MDs and other senior city professionals who also see the need for a new way of visualising transactions, structures, and advice.

Jigsaw has over 200 clients across legal, accountancy, and financial institutions, including leading asset managers, top tier law firms in the UK and US, and some of the largest organisations in the APAC region.

Jigsaw has offices in London, New York, Singapore, Chicago, Miami, California and Barcelona. This reach enables us to work with the largest financial and professional service firms on a 24/7 global basis.

Our Founders

Stephen and Travis founded Jigsaw and have worked together on entrepreneurial ventures since 2004. After several years working in leading professional services and financial institutions, they shifted focus onto creating technology to service those sectors.

Travis Leon

Travis practised at a Magic Circle firm before moving into investment banking, and then co-founding XRef with Stephen. After XRef, Travis went on to help build the wider Litera conglomerate before exiting for the second time in 2019.

Stephen Scanlan

Stephen was an investment funds lawyer for ten years at a top international firm and worked inside Europe’s biggest hedge funds and banks. Together with Travis, he founded XRef, the automated proofreading company which was successfully sold to a private equity firm in 2016.
